A Day in the Life of a Participant

Frequently Asked Questions

Our events surround genuine litigations (real court cases). Because of the reality of the circumstances and information involved, only those who are legally able to serve as jurors are included in our research. All participants must present a valid state ID or Driver’s License matching their Truscott Database zip code.

Yes, participants are typically provided breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack. If an event differs, then participants will be notified of any changes.

Typically, participants are compensated $400 for a Full Day, and $200 for a Half Day. Each participant is called and given the specific details of the event (including pay). After the call, a follow up email is sent detailing compensation. If an event differs, then participants will be notified of any changes in compensation prior to attending.

We use TREMENDOUS, an outside vendor, for payment. Compensation is made digitally or with a physical VISA debit card. Digital payments include Venmo, PayPal, instant debit card transfer, or a bank transfer (please allow 2-4 days for a bank transfer). If you plan to use a new PayPal or Venmo account, your account must be set up at least a week before your event date.

You will receive your Visa Debit card before you leave the event, or if you choose digital compensation, you will receive an email from TREMENDOUS with instructions to receive your compensation. The required information for each digital payment is listed below. 

PHYSICAL VISA DEBIT CARD:  Please pick up when leaving the event.

PAYPAL: Name used on PayPal account, PayPal account email. 

VENMO: Email used on Venmo account, Venmo account phone number. 

BANK TRANSFER:  Email address, Account holder name, Routing number, Account number, Choice of checking or savings to deposit funds.  

INSTANT DEBIT TRANSFER:  Phone Number, Email Address, Name as shown on Debit Card, Debit Card Number, Expiration Date, CVV, Billing Address, and Zip Code. 

Yes, they may attend as long as they aren’t your relation and don’t share your address.

Prior to the date of the event, our company calls those residing in the event area, the details of the event are shared, and potential participants can choose to attend. If we are unable to reach someone by phone, an email is sent with the details of the event.
